It all started with our dogs

Aurora Paws began the same way many good things do — with a deep love for our dogs.

To us, they’re not just pets. They’re family. They’re the ones waiting at the door, the ones curled up beside us, the ones who make every day better.

And like most dog owners, we wanted the very best for them.

But when it came to toys… something didn’t sit right.

The problem we couldn’t ignore

The more we looked, the more we realised just how many dog toys were made from plastic, synthetic materials, and components we didn’t fully trust.

Toys that:

• Contain hidden plastics

• Break into small, unsafe pieces

• Contribute to landfill and microplastic pollution

It left us asking one simple question:

Why isn’t there a better way?

So we created one

Aurora Paws was born from a simple idea:

Dog toys should be safer for our dogs — and kinder to the planet.

Every product we create is thoughtfully designed using natural, compostable materials, carefully selected to provide safe, enriching play without the environmental cost.

We use materials like:

• Natural jute fibres

• Suede (a by-product, helping reduce waste)

• Recycled components where appropriate

No unnecessary plastics. No compromises.

Designed by us. Tested by them.

We’re a small team of two — myself and Richard — and everything you see is designed by us, right here in the UK.

From initial sketches, to sampling, to final production, every toy goes through months of refinement to make sure it’s just right.

And of course, every design is thoroughly tested by our three very enthusiastic (and very honest) product testers — our dogs.

If they don’t love it, it doesn’t make the cut.

Built differently, for a reason

Our toys aren’t designed to last forever — and that’s intentional.

Traditional plastic toys can last longer, but they often come at a cost to your dog’s safety and the environment.

Our toys are made from natural fibres, which means they are:

• Safer when chewed

• Free from microplastics

• Biodegradable and compostable

It’s not about creating something that lasts forever.
It’s about creating something that’s better while it’s here.
